The Vendor is required to provide visual communication services, also known as interpreter which includes:
• Interpretation (ex. American Sign Language)
• Communication access real-time transcription (CART)
- Interpreter services will be provided on an as-needed basis, and no minimum amount of work is guaranteed under any contract resulting.
- ASL interpretation should be conducted accurately and faithfully to convey the full meaning of the source.
- Interpretations should reflect the style and register of the source message without omissions, additions, or embellishments.
- Interpreters should be familiar with behavioral health (mental health diagnosis, substance related disorders, behavioral health treatment) terminology and resources.
- Provide interpretation for deaf and hard of hearing community stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Provide a resume for the agency director, program director, staff members and/or Interpreters who will provide services for the contract.
- Contract Period/Term: 2 years
