The Vendor is required to provide investment and fiduciary advisory services to support the committee in fulfilling its fiduciary responsibilities which are comprised primarily of the following tasks regarding agency 401(a) and 457(b) plans.
- Services include:
• Assist in developing appropriate investment strategies for both plans;
• Review the investment policy statement and assist in developing appropriate investment strategies and benchmarks for both plans;
• Recommend investments that fit within the investment strategies;
• Monitor performance relative to the appropriate benchmarks that are established, and assist in replacing investments when appropriate;
• Provide updated recommendations regarding investment strategies, as appropriate, on a periodic basis but no less than annually;
• Recommend changes to investment fund lineups to the agency committee as needed;
• Attend quarterly committee meetings agency ah corporate offices and present quarterly presentation of plans’ financial performance to committee;
• Support the committee in its fiduciary governance role such as training as to fiduciary responsibility, etc.
• Serve as co-fiduciary for the plans and their participants, limited to fiduciary functions outlined in this scope;
• Help to ensure plans are compliant with regulations;
• Provide information and analysis regarding legislative and regulatory changes that impact the plans;
• Perform administrative duties in support of the committee quarterly meetings, including preparation of agenda and meeting minutes;
• Assist with assessment of trust, custodial and administrative services, and the costs thereof for both plans as requested;
• Provide support to ensure all plans are compliant with regulations; and
• Other tasks as requested by committee.
