RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide library technology coaching assistance services directly to eligible libraries to help the libraries seeking grant funds for a broadband or facility improvement project within their community.
- Provide one-on-one coaching remotely via electronic communications and/or media for staff of eligible libraries interested in applying for the agency grant program, as well those grant awardees requiring assistance with their project implementations.
- Attend stakeholder meetings with the eligible library’s staff and infrastructure/improvement vendors, library governing authorities, and/or other stakeholders in the community to learn about the community’s needs.
- Meet one-on-one with the eligible library’s staff to review proposed broadband improvements and educate library staff and/or oversight entity personnel and decision-makers on potential equipment, infrastructure, and facility improvement options, including preparing requests for bids, statements of work, or other documents that will assist the library in making an informed decision about submitting a grant request for reimbursement of costs for eligible/authorized infrastructure needs.
• Demonstrate an understanding of and experience in information technology systems, software, and equipment, specifically regarding broadband services and requirements while supporting the unique needs of the eligible library and the community it serves.
