The vendor is required to provide that an integrated accessibility tool for the University’s Canvas LMS
-An inclusive learning environment by ensuring that course materials meet accessibility standards and are usable by all students.
-The tool must seamlessly integrate with (a) the University’s Canvas LMS instance, including customizations currently in operation (e.g., the use of custom roles*), and (b) other tools and services used within the University’s Canvas LMS instance, including but not limited to Panopto and Office 365.
-The tool must have a method to enforce specific call scopes to prevent unrestricted access to sensitive information in canvas that falls outside the accessibility checker’s requirements.
-The accessibility tool should:
•Be capable of scanning and identifying accessibility issues in various types of content, including but not limited to documents, videos, and images.
•Provide real-time feedback in plain language on the accessibility of content and suggestions for remediation.
•Include interactive and easy to use features that guide users on how to fix accessibility issues.
•Allow for the remediation of content inside the solution itself
•Be capable of creating alternative formats of content
•Allow users to generate translations of content into other languages.
•Convert math content.
•Generate detailed and easily comprehendible compliance reports to help track progress and identify areas that need improvement.
-Implementation Services:
•Provide an implementation plan that clearly outlines the timeline and resource allocation for the successful deployment of the accessibility tool.
•Provide subject matter experts to assist and collaborate with university staff in the implementation of the solution.
•Execute the deployment of the configured solution according to the established implementation plan and monitor performance. Address any challenges that may arise to ensure a smooth go-live process.
•Maintain a regular project meeting schedule with university stakeholders
-Contract Period/Term: 1 year
