The vendor is required to provide an inpatient medical-surgical care program for the inpatients of the center.
-Program will consist of all professional and technical services necessary for the care of the center’s patients being treated as inpatients at a general hospital.
-Access to the hospital for the center’s inpatients requiring medical and/or surgical care will be managed by a hospitalist, employed by the hospital. The hospitalist will oversee the delivery of care in collaboration with the center’s attending physician about the patient’s progress.
-Emergency services for the center’s inpatients. Patients will be referred and sent by the center’s examining physician as necessary to the hospital’s Emergency Department for more definitive evaluations.
-Center patients will have access to specialty physician services (such as oncology, endocrinology, pulmonology, etc.) and treatments outside of specialty clinic services provided at the center
-Contract Period/Term: 5 years
