The vendor is required to provide mobile application that can be customized or configured to offer, at a minimum, the following services:
• Ensure the system supports single sign-on (SSO) functionality, allowing seamless integration with the city’s existing parking vendors or the capability to redirect users to their respective platforms to allow customers to apply for and purchase parking permits – resident, employee, and guest through the current parking management system
• Allow customers to apply for and purchase downtown garage access cards.
• Allow customers to appeal citations through the current parking management system
• Allow customers to pay citations through the current parking management system
• Allow customers to view real-time parking facility occupancy.
• Allow customers to make payments at legally available parking spaces within paid parking areas
- Provide will effectively, reliably, and satisfactorily perform the following features:
1. User registration and login:
• Users should be able to create an account and log in using their credentials.
2. Parking availability search:
• Users can search for parking availability in nearby garages based on their current location or desired destination.
• The application should display real-time information about available parking spots in each garage. (Only show the number of spaces that are available – no reserved spots)
3. Parking garage location map and directions:
• Users can view a map with the locations of the garages.
• They should be able to get directions to the selected garage from their current location or any specified destination.
4. Profile creation and account types:
• Users can create a profile with general information, including:
o Name
o License plate details
o Driver's license information (license scanned copy)
• Users should be able to upload necessary documents to create different account types, such as:
o Business account (business information)
o Employee account (paycheck, letter from employer)
o Hollywood resident account (resident’s driver’s license/ id)
o Non-resident account
o Hotel and motel permits account
5. Monthly access cards:
• Users can purchase monthly access cards for parking through the application. (Monthly access at downtown – options for 24-hour access or 12 hour access)
• The application should offer different pricing options and provide details about the benefits of each card.
6. Online ticket payment and appeal:
• Users may receive a physical ticket from the city for a parking violation. users have the option to pay for a parking ticket or appeal online by providing the ticket number.
• Appealing a parking ticket: ticket number has all the information, and users can enter the citation number into the application for appeal.
• The application should facilitate the appeal process for a ticket by guiding users through the required steps.
7. Parking permit purchase: on street parking
• Users can buy parking permits using the stored information in their profiles.
• The application should show various permit options and allow users to select the one that suits their needs.
8. Payment integration:
• The application should integrate with a secure payment gateway to handle transactions.
9. Parking payment:
• Users can pay for street and garage parking using the application.
• The application should provide information on hourly or daily parking rates.
10. User support and notifications:
• The application should offer customer support and a help center to address user queries.
• Users should receive notifications about parking availability, permit expiration, and payment receipts.
11. Security and data privacy:
• The application should ensure the security and privacy of user data and payment information.
• The application shall at all times be PCI DSS (“payment card industry data security standard”) compliant.
12. Accessibility and user experience:
• The application should be designed with accessibility features and a user-friendly interface.
13. Mobile compatibility:
• The application should be available for both iOS and android platforms to reach a wider audience.
14. Localization:
• If the application targets users from diverse regions, it should support multiple languages
15. Analytics and reporting:
• The application should have an analytics system to track user behavior and parking garage usage.
16. Social sharing and referrals:
• Implement social sharing and referral features to encourage user engagement and growth. - Contract Period/Term: 2 years
