RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide for a redesign and reimplementation of its mobile workforce management (MWM) including support, and training.
- Redesign solution for the existing MWM should, at a minimum be able to support the full spectrum of dispatching, scheduling, and field service processes and should be scalable and flexible to fit our existing network infrastructure.
- Services include:
• Implementation of recommended solutions to remedy ongoing issues within the MWM system currently in use within agency.
• Rollout of mobile devices configured with automated dispatching, scheduling, and routing to increase the efficiency of our workforce in both the office and the field.
• Demonstration of flexibility in the respondent’s design and implementation process, allowing for customization and scalability while helping to keep IT maintenance and support costs to a minimum.
• Implementation of a solution that allows for an agency specific customized experience.
- Fix MWM mobile applications configuration for map functionality
- Configuration services to streamline time tracking on orders and the workflow process to update Kronos
- Configuration services to convert the cayenta order creation interface from a pull interface to a push interface taking advantage of cayenta version 9 or later capabilities
- Rewrite reports to point to data warehouse instead of production database
- Training on MWM configuration for ESRI maps
- Update interface to send meter information when appropriate (e.g. trouble meter is not being sent correctly)
- Update solution configuration to remove or fix job briefing screens
- Update pdf publishing to include powerline apparatus and poles
- Upgraded Ifs product version needs to solve log4j vulnerability on clevest servers
- Configure solution for null LAT / long check prior to interface web messaging
- Fix solution for missing work authorizations
- Fix solution configuration to remove overlapping fields and non-functioning workflow progression
- Fix mobile map configuration to include missing overhead GIS
- Fix web messaging to include register no in close service order for INSPT orders
- Fix outage interface to include outage mobile along with outage base orders
- Update workflow to include readings for existing meters when applicable (temp to perm, meter pulls, trouble tickets, etc.)
- Fix service seq. in web message outbound
- Update solution configuration to support sequential tabs
- Update solution configuration to capture time on the order rather than using the timesheet module
- Remove hardware requirement for truck to idle during workday
- Fix solution configuration for workflows that are skipping to the end
- Enable time on order to be viewable when order is completed (rather than midnight)
- Enable time information to be changed easily by the dispatch persona
- Fix solution configuration to make comments required on state
- Fix solution configuration for back button functionally where appropriate
- Enable navigation to orders
- Fix solution to send attachments (or links) back to geo digital
- Update to map / feature service for GIS instead of TPK
- Enable easy photo capture
- Fix GPS capture
- Support process fix for consistent mobile device setup
- Fix solution configuration around trouble order alerts
- Implement best practices throughout solution configuration
- Remove unused features (e.g., multi-point routing, safety timer, host inquiry, nearby orders)
- Ensure standard deployment security options and best practices are applied
- Update solution configuration to easily identify target orders and their respective parent orders for the dispatch persona.
