• Replacement of existing signs: provide and install four (4) new overhead digital arrival/departure displays that match or improve upon resolution, brightness, and refresh rate of the current Daktronics gp4-180x180-20-sf units.
• High-resolution and readability: displays must deliver sharp, high-resolution visuals with optimal clarity in all weather conditions, ensuring visibility during both day and night.
• Weatherproof and durable: the signage must be built to withstand outdoor environmental factors such as temperature fluctuations, humidity, rain, and direct sunlight.
2. System compatibility & integration
• Real-time data support: the system must integrate seamlessly with authority existing information systems, traffic updates, parking availability, and emergency messages.
• Cybersecurity compliance: adhere to industry standards for cybersecurity and network security.
3. Digital signage content management system (DSCMS)
• Remote management: implement a cloud-based, secure DSCMS for centralized content control, allowing airport staff to schedule and manage signage remotely.
• Content flexibility: the system must support multiple content formats, including text, images, videos, and real-time data feeds.
4. Connectivity and power efficiency
• Wireless connectivity: enable wireless (cellular) connectivity to the DSCMS for real-time updates and remote diagnostics.
• Energy-efficient design: utilize energy-efficient display technology to minimize power consumption while maintaining high performance.
5. Scalability and future expansion
• Modular design for growth: the solution must be scalable, allowing for future expansion to incorporate additional digital signage and potential replacement of existing static signage.
• The management software must meet open standard requirements to enable integration with future systems and programs.
