The Vendor is required to provide for personal property valuation, data collection, and appraisal services.
- Provide personal property valuation services specific to the needs of the town.
- The estimated number of personal property accounts for revaluation are:
• Six Hundred Fifty (650) as of January 1, 2025
• Six Hundred Fifty (650) as of January 1, 2026
• Six Hundred Fifty (650) as of January 1, 2027
• One Thousand Three Hundred (1,300) as of January 1, 2028
• Six Hundred Seventy-Five (675) as of January 1, 2029
- In fiscal years 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2030, the contractor will discover, list and value all new and certain existing personal property within the town.
- Rediscover, reclassify and provide values for all taxable personal property of telephone and wireless companies.
- Provide an opinion of the final value of all personal property accounts appraised and the valuations provided shall be as of January 1, 2025, January 1, 2026, January 1, 2027, and January 1, 2029.
- Responsible for providing an updated appraisal of the personal property of all public and private utility companies.
- Responsible for all data entry and report generation.
