The vendor is required to provide the creation, development, and maintenance of an online platform, referred to as the "marketplace," which will be designed to connect educators, school administrators, and district personnel with high-quality professional learning vendors.
- Ensuring the platform’s performance, including search capabilities, functionality, and ongoing updates, to provide a user-friendly experience for educators, school administrators, and district personnel.
- Create comprehensive vendor profiles to be shared with districts that include:
• Types of support offered (e.g., curriculum adoption, ongoing implementation of curriculum, etc.).
• Areas of expertise (e.g., curriculum, subject area, instructional methodology, assessment and data analysis, classroom management).
• Successful partnerships with various school types (public, private, charter, rural, urban, parochial, etc.).
• Geographic areas where the vendor operates or is willing to work.
• A sample scope of work provided by vendor (examples of successful engagement with previous clients)
• Examples of how the vendor has successfully built capacity.
• Statute and state board of education rule-aligned services and vendor contact information.
- Collect vendor profiles and display them on the online platform for use by educators, school administrators, and district personnel.
- Design and manage a website hosted by the contracted partner, accessible via the state department of education website, to feature these vendor profiles.
- Provide users with a vendor selection guide based on the developed rubric.
- Maintain the performance of the platform/website and generate necessary reports for the department.
- Collaborate with the department throughout the development of the professional learning marketplace to ensure alignment with department expectations and successful completion.
• Provide ongoing feedback to the contractor to ensure that the marketplace aligns with state statutory requirements, state board of education rules and professional learning standards.
• Review and approve the rubrics, vendor profiles, and the platform to ensure the content and services meet statutes, state board of education rules and quality standards.
• Monitor the project’s progress and ensure compliance with the agreed-upon objectives and deliverables.
- Final completion of project will be determined by:
• Successful launch and operation of the online professional learning marketplace.
• Submission of the comprehensive evaluation rubric and supporting documentation for vendor selection.
• Submission of regular reports and a final project and sequence to the department for review.
• The platform’s functionality includes the display of vetted vendor profiles, effective user search capabilities, and clear alignment with state professional learning standards and statutory requirements and state board of education rules.
