RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide personal support for transitioning veterans by connecting them to relevant resources and services in their community and assisting them in accomplishing their personal and professional goals to thrive after military service.
- Assistance is grouped into the service:
• Health services
• Homeless assistance
• Mental wellness
• Social life
• Workshops
• Life wellness
• Education
• Entrepreneurship
• Volunteer engagements
• Career services
• Legal assistance
• Financial assistance
• Veteran benefits
- Solution requirements:
• Allow users to create profiles.
• Provide demographic information.
• Provide a dashboard for review of system performance.
- The solution shall:
• Be intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface, allowing clients to use of the system quickly and efficiently; only specific information required to create a profile is needed for clients to access the system; this information includes: name, date of birth, gender, ethnicity, phone, email, branch of military service, military branch, military pay grade, date entered military service, and separation date of military service.
• Allow agency administrators to have real time access to data and system usage.
• Be customizable and flexible to changes to the system and can be tailored to the individual client.
• Be designed to scale as the organization grows, accommodating increase in clients and organizations.
• Allow 24/7 access to organizations through multiple devices and platforms that can be accessed anywhere and at any time.
• Have advanced analytics and reporting capabilities provide users with actionable insights and performance metrics.
• Use industry-standard protocols and APIS to ensure compatibility with a wide range of existing systems and platforms.
• Ensure seamless data exchange between current databases, applications, and systems and new databases, applications and systems as they develop.
• Create and update phone applications.
• Update software as required.
• Provide data support as required.
• Provide information technology and technical support as required.
• Meet weekly and quarterly with the department.
• Provide preventative maintenance to prevent potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Safely store clients and organizations data information.
• Provide requests for data information to the department within five business days.
• Train the department on system use as required throughout the life of the resulting contract.
- Mobile application requirements
• Create, test, and maintain a mobile application for the palmetto pathfinders program.
• Configure and integrate the mobile application with agency salesforce environment.
• The department’s salesforce environment uses tableau to collect and present: client demographic, geographic location by county, resources requested, response time, outcome of services provided, peer to peer mentorship management, organizations outside of the 72 hour response time.
• Enable user administration through forms, dashboard, and reporting capabilities.
• Create, build, and incorporate custom workflows and notifications for users.
• Ensure mobile application process automation.
• The department will make available information it has readily available or available with reasonable effort and in a reasonable time frame information necessary for the development of the technology platform.
• The department will provide a point of contact for the contractor for the resulting contract.
