The vendor is required to provide security officer to perform security duties at center in accordance with the schedule and responsibilities outlined below.
- Duties and responsibilities:
• Monitor and patrol the transit center premises (interior and exterior) on foot, making routine rounds throughout the assigned shift.
• Prevent unauthorized loitering or inappropriate behavior around the transit center and other agency property.
• Ensure the safety of agency employees, particularly during evening hours and periods of low daylight.
• Provide high visibility to serve as a deterrent to criminal activity and promote a secure environment for all patrons and staff.
• Promptly report and document any incidents. a written incident report must be submitted to the vice president of marketing and communications (agency project manager) or their designee at agency within 24 hours of occurrence.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff during all assigned hours.
- Personnel requirements:
• All security personnel must conduct themselves in a professional, courteous, and tactful manner at all times.
• Personnel must be in full uniform, clean and presentable, in accordance with the contractor’s dress code.
• A photograph or detailed description of the uniform must be submitted must be included in proposal submission.
• Any changes to personnel uniform must be submitted to agency for approval.
• Security personnel must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
