RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide services for solicit and sell advertising space in travel publications produced by agency, to include, but not be limited to providing recommendations, facilitating readership, and advertising research, and facilitating marketing and advertising promotions, as needed.
- Provide an updated list of all vendor personnel or subcontractors at each job site and comply with all security measures required by department.
- Make arrangements with the designated department presentative prior to offloading tools and equipment at the job site.
- Only park in locations assigned by the designated department presentative.
- Ensure all personnel are fluent in English with the ability to receive, give, and understand written and oral instructions.
- Conduct background checks using statewide state department and out-of-state county equivalent verification of criminal and sex offender background checks on all vendor’s permanent and temporary personnel scheduled to work on department projects prior to beginning service start-up
- The background checks must include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Social security number verification.
• Statewide criminal and sex offender records for all state counties and out-of-state county equivalents based on the current and previous addresses of the applicant for the past seven years.
- Designate the vendor by name in all travel publications as the advertising representative.
- Make all decisions regarding credit and other matters relating to advertising.
- Recreational features, sites, equipment, facilities, and services.
- Camping, hiking, fishing, birding, boating, outdoor features, bicycling, gardening, photography, wildlife viewing, astronomy, and geology.
- Financial, media, and higher education services related to state institutions.
- Real estate developments related to recreational and retirement living; and other matters of interest and value to the public and highway users.
- Collaborate with and keep department informed on changes in media usage and media landscape trends that impact potential revenue on an annual basis or upon request from department.
- Collect payments from advertisers.
