The Vendor is required to provide solid waste disposal services at the commission building.
- “Solid waste” will include trash, garbage, refuse or rubbish such as yard waste, office wastes, construction wastes, junk or other similar discarded material or objects.
- Waste streams: paper/cardboard recyclable materials, hazardous materials and/or hazardous wastes.
- The vendor will furnish one (1) 30-cubic yard (cy), roll-off open container (dumpster) to be located in the lay-down yard area and one (1) 20-cubic yard (cy) compactor to be located at the building’s loading dock area.
- The vendor will furnish one (1) 10-cubic yard (CY), frontload container (dumpster) to be located in the rear yard area.
- Provide next-day collection (pick-up/swap out) services for the compactor and dumpsters.
- Collection services shall be initiated by phone or electronic contact from commission staff.
- All dumpsters and vehicles utilized by the vendor will be of the type suitable for the collection of solid waste and be sanitary and of leak-proof construction.
- All dumpster beds will be constructed of impervious materials, which are easily cleanable and so constructed that there will be no leakage.
- All vehicles will have closed beds or coverings that will prevent the scattering of trash.
- Contract Period/Term: 3 years
