The vendor is required to provide travel monitoring system (TMS) solution provided by the vendor will utilize methodologies and technology for polling, analysis, storage, and reporting of both current and historical traffic data resulting in improved data quality control processes that are administration compliant.
- The TMS solution provided by the Vendor must be scalable and able to handle robust data security, storage, and access as well as provide customizable analysis/reporting capabilities.
- TMS project include:
• Implement a secure web-based software-as-a-service TMS solution which uploads consistent, reliable and accurate traffic count data that can be accessed from any computer, based on the user role.
• Migrate existing data and upload into the new TMS database structure.
• Provide emergency and error reporting of volume, speed, weight, and class data from motorized continuous and short-term count sites from cellular and fiber networks.
• Provide accurate collection, analysis and reporting of volume, classification, speed, and PVR weigh-in-motion (WIM) data from motorized and non-motorized continuous count sites.
• Receive both motorized and non-motorized traffic data, continuously collected by direction and lane, and store the data in selectable 15, and 60-minute increments.
• Collect and store WIM data as per-vehicle records (PVR).
• Link all traffic monitoring sites linked to geospatial coordinates.
• Adhere to administration most current travel monitoring guide (TMG) for travel monitoring analysis system (TMAS) format requirements for data reporting.
• Provide a reporting portal with the ability for authorized users to create ad-hoc reports based on user role.
• Provide embedded user help functionality and training documentation to assist users with data queries or entry.
• Establish a process for the users to upload the data from excel, and other flat file formats, into the database.
