The Vendor is required to provide pre-employment background screenings to include but not be limited to: comprehensive background investigation(s), educational history (IES), and criminal record history (IES) for department employment applicants on an as requested basis through an online secure portal.
- Pre-Employment Screenings
1. National criminal and sex offender history
• For the purpose of this proposal, a national criminal history report is defined as a summary of findings after searching a collection of nationwide criminal databases to include state and county levels for felony and misdemeanor convictions.
2. State criminal history check
• For the purpose of this proposal, a state criminal history check is defined as a summary of findings after searching a collection of statewide criminal databases.
• Department does not require fingerprint-based searches.
• State criminal history checks shall include a state county criminal history check.
3. Non-state criminal history check
• For the purpose of this proposal, a non-state criminal history check is defined as a summary of findings after searching a collection of non-state statewide criminal databases.
• Department does not require fingerprint-based searches
• Non- state criminal history check shall include a non- state county criminal history check
4. Federal criminal background check
• For the purpose of this proposal, a federal background check will search federal judicial records and report on criminal records from federal jurisdictions to include fraud, embezzlement, drug trafficking.
5. Motor vehicle reports
• Respondent shall check current state licensure status and dates and description of suspension, violations and/or revocations.
• Respondent shall check current non-state licensure status and dates and description of suspension, violations and/or revocations.
6. Social security number trace
• For the purpose of this proposal, a social security number trace confirms a social security number is linked to a particular candidate including other name(s) associated with the social security number (e.g., maiden/alias names), current/past addresses, and month/year of birth.
- Provide samples of each background check as outlined above and must outline what databases are utilized for each pre-employment screening.
- Provide evidence of at least three (3) continuous years of experience performing relevant pre-employment and background screening services.
- Contract Period/Term: 2 years
