Background Check Services

The vendor is required to provide background check services to the institutions in conducting background checks on employees, student workers, and volunteers, as requested, in accordance with institutional policies and applicable laws.
- Screening packages that include the following:
•    Social security number trace:
o    Must identify unlimited aliases (AKAs) and unlimited past addresses for a minimum of 7 years.
•    County criminal record search:
o    Conduct searches in all counties of residence identified from the SSN trace over the past 7 years.
o    no limitation on the number of counties searched.
•    Federal criminal records search:
o    Include searches of federal district court records in all applicable jurisdictions.
o    National criminal database search: cross-reference all names and aliases in national criminal databases.
•    Sex offender registry search:
o    Nationwide check of sex offender databases.
•    Terrorist watch list, OFAC and lobal watch lists:
o    Screening against country and international government watch lists, including OFAC.
