The Vendor is required to provide for occupational medicine and pre-employment screening services.
- All testing should be conducted by proposer for at minimum the following six (6) drugs:
• Amphetamines
• Cocaine metabolites
• Marijuana metabolites
• Methamphetamines
• Opioids metabolites
• Oxycodone
- Drug Testing Services
• Possess all necessary materials, equipment, and facilities to provide for the collection (including direct observation when requested or required) and refrigerated storage of split sample specimens.
• Employ sufficient personnel, including trained technicians, to provide for integrity and security of records and specimens.
• Execute the chain of custody procedures established by Department and as well as any procedures established by agreement with County.
• At a minimum one (1) site location must be centrally located within County.
• Available for collection at least Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM (PT)
• Ensure integrity of other laboratories used, including Medical Review Officer (MRO) services.
• Release of test results only to those individuals that have been approved through Risk Management to receive testing information
• Coordinate with other collection and laboratory facilities that may conduct pre-employment or after hours testing for Risk Management.
• Permit Risk Management to conduct inspections of the collection facility.
- Occupational Medicine Services
• A testing site centrally located within county
• Department and coast guard examination with vision screen and urinalysis dipstick testing (UA dip)
• Lab and imagining
• Tuberculosis skin and blood testing
• Meet the standards required by the Americans with disabilities act (ADA), while providing a detailed evaluation of an individual’s functional capabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Comprehensive evaluation including assessment of range of motion, posture, join integrity, and strength.
• Cardiovascular assessment, including risk profile, blood pressure, heart rate, and recovery condition.
• Strength evaluation of the back and extremities.
• Risk profile for overuse syndromes.
• Job simulation components, including body mechanics and lifting.
• Perform post-injury evaluation by matching data with that of the initial post-offer data.
