The Vendor is required to provide to verify applicant and participant income and employment information in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide Authority with access to a secure, reliable, and compliant employment and income verification system to support:
• Applicant eligibility determinations
• Pre-move-in income verification
• Annual and interim recertification’s
• Ongoing compliance with HUD requirements
- To support these requirements, authority utilizes a third-party verification service to obtain accurate, timely, and compliant employment and income data.
- Provide access to a national database of employer-reported:
• Employment status
• Wage and salary information
• Historical income data
- Allow department to perform:
• Pre-employment verification (pre-admission)
• Annual recertification verification
• Interim income verification
- Provide verification reports that include:
• Employer name
• Dates of employment
• Gross earnings
• Pay frequency
- System Access and Functionality
• Be web-based and accessible to authorized agency staff
• Provide secure login credentials and user authentication
• Allow for real-time or near real-time verification results
• Maintain audit trails of all verification requests
• Allow users to search by SSN or other identifying information (as permitted by law).
