The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive pre-employment screening services for selected candidates under consideration for employment by the city.
- The consultant will conduct pre-employment checks for selected candidates during the city's talent acquisition process.
- The consultant will:
• Conduct and oversee pre-employment checks
• Supply accurate information on candidates
• Monitor missing details
• Deliver required reports to the city
• Ensure legal and legislative compliance and mitigate hiring risks
• Promote fairness, transparency, and privacy in the hiring process
- Pre-employment checks will include, but are not limited to:
• Employment references (minimum 2 per candidate): standard, customized, and investigative formats
• Web reputation review: must comply with anti-discrimination and privacy guidelines
- The city may request other verifications, including in but not limited to the following:
• Employment verification
• Education verification
• Professional credential verification
• Credit checks: must comply with applicable provincial laws and privacy standards
• International security screening.
