The Vendor is required to provide investigative services on an as-needed basis:
• Have available at all times the equipment, facilities, and instrumentalities required to perform investigative services as requested by city.
• Serve process on individuals and entities, including those attempting to evade service, and complete proof of services and declarations in accordance with applicable law.
• Conduct background checks using available databases (as well as publicly available social media) in accordance with applicable law to determine, among other things, previous litigation history, real property holdings, assets, judgments, and net worth, as well as known associates, addresses, phone numbers, and other contact information.
• Conduct surveillance, including photographic and video surveillance, as directed by city.
• Interview individuals and draft interview memoranda for submission to city.
• Prepare transcriptions of witness statements.
• Photograph scenes of accidents and injuries or as otherwise directed by city.
• Contact individuals/entities as directed by city to obtain additional information/evidence and provide reports regarding such efforts.
• Testify in court as needed.
• Provide investigative services after normal business hours and on weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Assigned employees may be required to work through lunch periods and after 5:00 p.m.
• Respond to any inquiry by city within one hour of such inquiry.
• All contracted for services in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, and submit results therefrom in the form and manner required by the terms of the contract for such services.
• Preparation of invoices in accordance with city requirements
• Provide for, at no additional cost to the city, parking, clerical, telephone, and other necessary overhead.
