Background Screening Services

The Vendor is required to provide background screening and related services on an as-needed basis.
- Requirement:
• Criminal background searches covering a minimum of seven (7) years prior to the date of the search, or the maximum period permitted or required by applicable law.
• Education verification.
• Employment verification
• Reference checks.
• Motor vehicle record (MVR) searches
• Credit reports, when authorized and applicable.
• Multi-state sex offender registry searches. 8. Terrorist and applicable government watch-list database searches
• Credential verification.
• Department screenings, as applicable, including:
• Adult abuse, neglect, or exploitation registry checks;
• Child abuse or neglect registry checks;
• Sex offender registry checks;
• Checks applicable to positions with access to vulnerable populations, patients, or protected health information.
• Social media screening, when requested and legally permissible.
• Pre-adverse and adverse action processing and notifications.
• Handling and reporting procedures for expunged, sealed, dismissed, non-reportable, or otherwise restricted records, including diversion records, in accordance with applicable law.
