- Background/Estimated Usage: The University anticipates approximately 6,500 background screening requests annually across all campuses. This estimate is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee of volume. Background screening requests may vary by hiring activity, funding, and operational needs.
- General Requirements
• Perform background checks for the University's Norman, Health Sciences Center (HSC), and Tulsa campuses.
• Coordinate with designated University Human Resources contacts responsible for initiating and managing background screening requests.
• Provide secure, electronic methods for the University to request, track, and receive background screening results, including an online portal.
• Provide adjudication services for adverse findings, as required.
• Provide user training, system documentation, and updated procedures whenever system upgrades impact functionality or user experience.
