- The total estimated volume (number of books, pages, and linear feet).
• 256 books (191 are “Tier 1” priority)
• 143,432 images/ pages (104,110 are “Tier 1” priority)
- The date ranges of the records.
• 1842 through 1959
- The physical condition of the records (fragile, torn, water-damaged).
• Some books show signs of aging and are fragile but most records to be scanned are in very good condition
- Among the records to be digitized are birth records which are limited by statute as to who can access them.
- Required scanning resolution (e.g., 300 dpi, 600 dpi).
