The Vendor is required to provide, but not be limited to, strategic communications, crisis communications, community outreach services including event support, social media management and marketing services for county on a task authorization basis.
- Provide, but not be limited to, graphic, communication, and community outreach services including event support, graphic design assistance, and/or marketing services for county on a task authorization basis.
- Services may include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure all messaging, content creation, and public outreach efforts align with the county’s rebranding initiative and are coordinated through the county’s communications department to maintain a unified and centralized message across all platforms and engagements.
• Strategically managing the sharing of information during an emergency situation or natural disaster while delivering clear, transparent, accurate, and timely messages to the public.
• Manage the release of urgent and time sensitive information to the public with professionalism, urgency, and through appropriate communication methods the vendor must ensure that all urgent and time-sensitive information is communicated to the public in accordance with applicable guidelines, protocols, and timelines.
• The vendor will work with county staff to develop and release public notices in a timely and efficient manner to ensure the public kept adequately informed.
• Working with county staff to support bilingual (English and Spanish) strategic messaging and marketing planning, along with enhanced content creation, community event support, and graphic design services on an as-needed basis in line with the county’s bilingual brand voices.
• Provide advice and technical assistance in the development of content to educate citizens on the factual aspects of initiatives launched by the board of county commissioners or county management.
• Assist the county with continuity of marketing and brand voice and the types of content created, including video and/or photography.
• Support for covering and/or executing county events under the county’s direction.
• Liaise and coordinate public information efforts with other entities and community partners.
• Public outreach activities as assigned.
• Development of, and participation in, educational workshops with the County at various public events.
• Graphic digital design and video/drone production/photography as assigned.
- The maximum for any individual Task Authorization shall not exceed $150,000 per project.
