The Vendor is required to provide social media archival services for the department social media platforms.
- Requirements
• Contractor shall not have access to any of department social media accounts.
• Use secure delegated access to retrieve archive data.
• Provide the department public affairs and community engagement division with access to a standard archival services account, which shall include the following features:
o Application program interface (API), which ensures data being stored has come directly from the orange county sheriff’s social media network.
o Live-streaming function that allows the API to capture records in real-time to ensure edited and deleted posts are retained in the archive.
o Edited and deleted posts will be tagged so they are easily retrievable.
o Ability to search and export records without having to contact the contractor.
o Ability to archive data from all authorized department social media accounts that include, but is not limited to, Facebook, twitter and Instagram.
o Archiving of up to 15,000 new social media records per month.
o Ability to allow multiple users from different department departments to access the information.
o The program shall offer the option to link unlimited social media accounts.
o Act compliance.
o Ability to retain all direct messages for all social media accounts.
• Provide customer support and technical support, as needed, during normal business hours (8 am PST to 4pm PST, Monday through Friday, except on county observed holidays.
