- Office is looking for a qualified firm, with a history of providing services geared toward economic development, to provide strategic communications support, including marketing, media relations, and social media management for various initiatives and projects, including economic development efforts.
- Firm will help elevate key priorities, strengthen public engagement, and ensure clear, consistent communication with residents, stakeholders, and the broader community.
- Marketing
• Development of Quarterly External Newsletter via Constant Contact.
• Analytics reporting following distribution of quarterly external newsletters.
• Work on video commercial campaigns which may include, but is not limited to, shooting video, editing and script writing.
- Media Relations
• Development of story arsenal.
• Development and distribution of press releases, media advisories and proactive media pitching to highlight new businesses, expansion, projects, significant loan funds and partnerships, etc.
• Preparation for media interviews.
• Media monitoring and reporting.
- Social Media Management
• Creation of monthly content calendars to include 2-3x posts weekly across three platforms (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn).
• Scheduling of content for posting and staff training via Loomly for review and approvals.
• Development of a list of partner organizations and engagement.
• Creation of templates in Canva for social media posts.
• Analytics reporting quarterly with recommendations to improve engagement.
• Taping, editing, and promotion of monthly podcasts.
