The vendor is required to provide personnel including but not limited to temporary labor services throughout county.
- Assume responsibility for paying, withholding, and transmitting payroll taxes; making unemployment contributions; and handling unemployment and workers' compensation claims involving assigned employees with respect to compensation the vendor has agreed to pay.
- Shall certify i-9 forms and verify eligibility to work through the e-verify program for all employees assigned to the county.
- Shall offer to all eligible assigned employees who perform work for the county, health care coverage that meets the minimum requirement of the patient protection and affordable care act and implementing regulations (collectively the "ACA"), including the market reform provisions, the minimum value requirements, and the affordability requirements of the aca.
- Shall perform necessary background checks and drug screenings on all assigned employees.
- Provide copies of any assigned employee's background check, which shall remain confidential.
- All assigned employees shall be qualified for the position to which they are assigned, shall maintain high standards of personal grooming, and shall dress appropriately for the job.
- resulting from this solicitation includes services that are required during emergency situations such as hurricanes, major fires, etc. time is of the essence during these situations and the vendor awarded this contract should be able to be contacted at any time, day or night.
- A minimum of a five-panel drug test (drug test to be performed upon offer of assignment to the county - Exception would be for any assigned employee transferring as a result of the award of this contract.)
- A criminal background check for the previous two-year period and any activity found is to be discussed with the county's supervisor.
- An assigned employee may be placed at the county subject to the results of the criminal background check.
- Minimum of two employment reference checks.
- Sexual predator background check.
