Nursing Services

The vendor is required to provide nursing services provider beginning July 1, 2025 who is familiar with, and has worked with, state.
- The district is requesting that the services to be provided to the board by a registered nurse (RN) and a licensed practical nurse (LPN) depending on the level of service required.
- Services to be provided to the board shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provide one-on-one nursing care at school, field trips, and extra-curriculum activities.
• Assist with transportation (accompany student on bus to and from school)
• Support child study teams
• Participate in IEP meetings, as needed
• Write individual health plans
• Train school personnel on specific medical conditions
• Provide substitute nursing on a consistent basis for 1:1 nurse, district school nurses, and any non-public schools as requested by the township school district.
• Meet with the administration as required to discuss projects and strategies to meet the needs of the student(s) and district.
• Log services for the new jersey state special education Medicaid initiative.
• Any additional nursing services as needed by the district.
