The vendor is required to provide temporary staffing agency will be responsible for recruiting, screening, placing, and managing temporary employees for various positions within the city.
• Recruitment and sourcing: actively recruit and source qualified candidates for temporary positions across a wide range of skill sets and experience levels.
• Candidate screening and vetting: conduct comprehensive screening processes, including but not limited to:
o Resume review and application analysis.
o Skills testing relevant to the position (e.g., software proficiency, typing speed, data entry).
o Behavioral and technical interviews.
o Reference checks.
o Background checks (criminal, DMV, etc., as required by the city for specific positions).
o Drug screening (as required by the city for specific positions).
• Placement and onboarding:
o Efficiently match qualified candidates to city departmental needs.
o Facilitate the onboarding process for temporary staff, including necessary paperwork and initial orientation regarding agency policies.
• Payroll and benefits management:
o Handle all aspects of temporary employee payroll, including wages, taxes, and unemployment insurance.
o Provide workers' compensation insurance for all temporary employees.
o Administer any agency-provided benefits for temporary staff.
• Performance management and support:
o Serve as the primary employer for temporary staff, addressing any employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, or performance concerns.
o Provide ongoing support to temporary employees and city supervisors.
• Reporting and communication: provide regular reporting on temporary staff placements, hours, and other relevant metrics as requested by the city.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with city department liaisons. - Contract Period/Term: 3 years
