The vendor is required to provide of public health staff augmentation services for the county.
- Work assigned may be short-term, long-term, part time, full time, on-site, or remote.
- Capable of providing rapid scale-ups of qualified staff as may be required in a public health emergency.
- County requires public health staff augmentation, a task order request will be initiated by the county indicating a work description, the job categories required, the number of staff required, and the anticipated length of time the staff may be engaged.
- Provide search, recruiting and staffing services that will allow county departments/agencies to request staffing on an as-needed basis and to accommodate rapid scale-up of the workforce in response to emergencies.
- Provide unemployment insurance and workers' compensation benefits where applicable.
- Handle unemployment and workers' compensation claims involving its staff when applicable.
- Provide other benefits as applicable.
- Require its staff assigned to the county to sign agreements acknowledging that they are not county staff and are therefore not entitled to holidays, vacations, disability benefits, insurance, pensions, retirement plans, or any other benefits offered or provided by the county.
- Pay, withhold, and transmit payroll taxes of its staff.
- Address all personnel issues related to assigned staff within 24 hours of notification by the county.
