The vendor is required to provide organizational structure and staffing assessment to include a comprehensive, independent assessment of the university’s organizational structure and staffing approach.
- Provide campus leadership with actionable insights and recommendations that will support more strategic talent deployment and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
• Conduct a comprehensive review of current organizational structure and applicable workflows
• Identify opportunities to streamline organizational structures and clarify roles and responsibilities
• Evaluate staffing levels (including faculty and staff), spans of control, and organizational layering across units
• Evaluate current university practices and process for determining talent deployment and institutional resources
• Review alignment between organizational structure and the university’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities
• Identify and recommend strategies to strengthen university-wide collaboration, accountability, and decision-making
• Provide clear, practical, and actionable recommendations to enhance organizational performance and sustainability.
- The consultant may use methods including, but not limited to:
• Document and data review
• Staff and leadership interviews
• Surveys and focus groups
