The Vendor is required to provide as-needed planning review temporary staffing services to the department - division.
- Provide temporary staffing services in one or both of the following services areas:
• Planning Review Services
• Planning Division Customer Support Services
- Planners will at all times maintain a professional demeanor and apply a collaborative, solution-focused approach when communicating with City staff, applicants, and the public.
- Planning Review Support Services
• Review planning applications including site plans, floor plans, elevation plans, landscape plans, and exhibits and associated documentation to determine compliance with the city and other applicable codes, regulations, ordinances, standards, and statutes.
• Provide comprehensive plan review annotations that proactively anticipate potential issues to avoid unexpected project delays.
• Present at public hearings as requested by the City, to include preparation of presentation materials.
- Planning Division Customer Support Services
• Provide customer support services at the department public counter.
• Customer support services will include, at a minimum, responding to questions from applicants, developers, city staff, the general public, either in-person, over the telephone, or by email.
• Establish a schedule to periodically communicate the status of permits and review issues with City staff and other parties.
