Nursing Services

The Vendor is required to provide highly qualified one-on-one pediatric nursing services to eligible medically fragile students.
- The majority of students require nursing services for the full school day of eight (8) hours.
- Requirement:
•    These services include, but are not limited to, providing recruiting, selection, reference checks, background screening, payroll and benefits administration, maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including e-verify, risk management and administration, and any other services that would be advantageous to district.
•    Must have been in the business of providing temporary nurses for a minimum of 5 years
•    Requests for temporary nursing services shall be made for same-day placement or future dates:
o    Requests shall be made by phone or email.
o    All responses from the vendor for same-day placement should result in the vendor calling or emailing the district personnel who place the request within one hour after notification, informing them whether or not the position has been filled. 
o    District prefers to have direct contact with the dispatcher for same-day placement.
