The Vendor is required to provide temporary staffing services to various City departments on an as-needed basis.
- Services will include recruitment, screening, skills testing, background investigations, drug testing, payroll administration, and related staffing support.
- Maintain sufficient staffing resources to meet fluctuating service demands.
- Adhere to all state and federal laws with respect to employment, including laws against discrimination in employment.
- Required services shall include:
• Recruitment and sourcing
• Screening and interviewing
• Skills testing (as appropriate to the positions)
• Reference checks
• Drug testing through a City approved vendor
• Background investigations through an approved vendor
• Payroll processing
- Temporary personnel requests shall be filled within 48 hours after receipt of the request. The Contractor shall identify the name and qualifications of the individual to be placed, his/her available start date, and the length of time he/she will be available for placement.
- Employment Status and Responsibilities
• Payroll taxes
• Workers’ compensation insurance
• Unemployment insurance
• Employee benefits (if applicable)
• Compliance with all wage and hour laws
• Management of all paperwork and responsibility for all costs related to social security, state, and federal withholding taxes, unemployment claims, and workers compensation claims for all temporary employees placed as a result of this contract
