The Vendor is required to provide special education staffing services for include:
• Speech-language pathologist
• Speech-language pathologist assistant
• Licensed occupational therapist
• Licensed certified occupational therapy assistant
• Licensed physical therapist
• Licensed physical therapy assistant
• School psychologist
• Teacher for the visually impaired
• Orientation and mobility specialist
• Teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing
• Sign language interpreter (must meet one of the following)
• School based audiologist
• School social worker
• School nurse
• Clinic assistant
• Registered nurse
• Licensed practical nurse
- Requirements
• Responsibility to make sure that all their personnel are properly licensed according to state and federal regulations.
• Licensure must come from a certified and accrediting board.
• Require the temporary staff’s to complete a background checks and drug tests with the district.
• Temporary staff are to adhere to the most honest and ethical standards and show a great and genuine concern for the student’s needs and feelings.
• Staff shall perform all services within the district’s established school-day schedule and operational hours.
• Staff are not permitted to work on holidays recognized by the district.
• The process for online payment system if any, including timesheet verification, etc.
• The temporary staff must monitor the media for announcement in the event of inclement weather or other reasons resulting in school closing or rescheduled openings.
• Provide details regarding procedures, in the event that customer service and technical issues occur.
• Staff must be available for consultation with the district on an as needed basis between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
