The Vendor is required to provide to obtain security and event management staffing services for university event venues that host a variety of university and community events.
- Event and security staff for events, the ideal vendor would provide the following additional services:
• The initial training to staff.
• This training should include information about the venues, safety and security best practices, crowd management, customer service, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
• Training on metal detector operations.
• Keep their safety and security training up to date with industry best practices and standards.
• Vendors should provide their staff with uniforms that are customized and logoed so they are easily identifiable as event and security staff at events.
• Their staff with all needed equipment to perform the necessary event and security duties, such as any needed radios, uniforms, and flashlights, etc.
• Conduct background checks on their staff.
