The Vendor is required to provide temporary pharmacist and pharmacy technician staffing services to support integral care pharmacy operations.
- Requirement:
• The services may include, but are not limited to, medication dispensing and verification in compliance with applicable pharmacy laws and professional standards; patient and caregiver medication counseling, as appropriate; accurate and timely documentation within integral care’s electronic medical record (EMR) and pharmacy systems; coordination with integral care pharmacy leadership and staff to support safe, effective, and uninterrupted pharmacy operations; and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations.
• Providing temporary pharmacy staffing services within county, and shall exhibit familiarity with retail and or ambulatory behavioral health pharmacy environments, as applicable.
• Responsible for the recruitment, screening, and credentialing of all personnel, including conducting criminal background checks in accordance with applicable law and industry standards; verifying all required licenses, certifications, and registrations prior to assignment; maintaining ongoing monitoring of licensure status, expiration dates, and disciplinary actions; and ensuring all personnel remain in good standing with the state board of pharmacy and other applicable regulatory authorities.
• Personnel who do not meet all requirements shall not be assigned to integral care.
• Service level expectations, subject to final contract negotiation, include one hundred percent (100%) credential verification prior to assignment and continuous compliance monitoring without lapse.
