Temporary Pharmacy Staffing Services

The Vendor is required to provide pharmacy staffing agencies to provide temporary pharmacist and pharmacy technician staffing services to support agency pharmacy operations in County.
- Services may include medication dispensing and verification, medication counseling, documentation in EMR and pharmacy systems, and coordination with agency staff to ensure safe and continuous pharmacy operation.
- The Services may include, but are not limited to, medication dispensing and verification in accordance with applicable laws and professional standards, patient and caregiver medication counseling, and inputting and maintaining accurate documentation with respect to the Services within agency electronic medical record (EMR) and pharmacy systems.
- The anticipated hours during which the Services will be provided are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time. At this time, evening, weekend, and holiday coverage is not required; however, agency reserves the right to modify service hours or require additional coverage as operational needs dictate during the term of the Contract.
- Temporary staff shall coordinate with agency pharmacy leadership and staff to support safe, effective, and continuous pharmacy operations and shall perform all Services in a professional and competent manner consistent with industry best practices.
