The Vendor is required to provide to secure temporary labor services on an as needed basis for Community Impact, a division.
- Community Impact anticipates the continuation of Clerk-Outreach Services positions commencing on January 1, 2027.
- Receive referrals to fill needed positions, each position a temporary worker.
- Document that each temporary worker has been subjected to and passed a comprehensive background check, meaning that:
• No individual shall be eligible to perform services under this Agreement if he or she has been convicted of a felony level offense or other criminal act which may or may not constitute a felony level offense, involving dishonesty, fraud, theft, embezzlement, breach of trust, or other offenses of moral turpitude
• No individual shall be eligible to perform services under this Agreement if he or she has been convicted of or was placed in a Pre-Trial diversion program for any misdemeanor or felony crime involving a sex offense, domestic violence, assault or battery.
• No individual shall be eligible to perform services under this Agreement if he or she is still under any type of supervision with pretrial, probation, or parole or any other County or State supervision for a misdemeanor or felony adjudication or arrest related to sexual assault, domestic violence, assault or battery.
- After initial background checks have been made, they must be done annually for any individual currently working within this contract after one (1) year.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment drug screening.
- Disseminate specific instructions, if necessary, to each temporary worker hired to perform clerical services on behalf of the County
- Perform comprehensive payroll duties for and on behalf of each temporary worker to include but not limited to;
• Verification of all hours worked with Community Impact a division of Economic and Community Development prior to issuing payment for services;
• Accumulation tabulation, and payment for services within ten (10) days of completed weekly pay period;
• Account for and withholding all amounts for all applicable taxes to include but not limited to, Federal Taxes, Social Security and Medicare and any other applicable taxes and provides each temporary worker with annual required tax documents;
• Payment of Unemployment and Workers’ Compensation Insurance for each temporary worker.
- Outreach Clerk:
• Will assist walk-in customers and answer general questions regarding the online application and/or supporting documents. Will also answer any questions regarding the online navigation process.
• Must score an 80 or above on the general computer skills test.
• Will meet with customers who have scheduled appointments, to assist with the completion of online applications and uploading supporting documents.
• Will review applications submitted via online application database to ensure the submission has been filled out and ensure submission of all supporting documents.
• Will answer phone calls from the public, screen customer phone calls to determine how best to respond to an inquiry.
