The Vendor is required to provide employee and family assistance program (EFAP) that shall provide a wide variety of services to help enhance the boards employee's overall wellbeing.
- EFAP specific programs:
• Stress and resiliency
• Occupational stress, trauma, and work-related issues
• Family, marital, and parenting challenges
• Psychological iliness (ex. anxiety, depression, etc.)
• Grief, loss, and emotional support
• Legal and financial consultation
• Substance abuse and addiction
• Retirement and life-stage planning
• A toll-free 1-800 assistance line that is accessible 24 hours a day 365 days per year.
• Critical-incident and crisis counseling
• Childcare and eldercare support
- Counselling, and other services, shall be offered and available through a wide variety of delivery means and (in person, by telephone, or on-line) and at locations within 30km of the following communities:
• Bradford west gwillimbury
• New tecumseth
• Innisfil
• Angus
• Barrie
• Collingwood
• Wasaga beach
• Elmvale
• Midland
• Penetanguishene
• Victoria harbour
• Orillia
• Parry sound
• Bracebridge
• Huntsville
• Brechin.
- Services (hourly and daily rates) that could be utilized by the board include, but are not limited to:
• Formal referrals
• Additional training sessions
• Mental health awareness training for groups of staff
• Stress management training for groups of staff
• Substance abuse assessment
• Leadership referral program and leadership coaching
• Critical incidence response and trauma care.
