The Vendor is required to provide pension trust and custodial services for the City Retirement Plan (the “Plan”).
- Provider will be responsible for safekeeping, custody, administration, and reporting of plan assets in accordance with applicable laws, fiduciary standards, and best practices.
- Firm will serve a critical role in supporting Plan governance, maintaining accurate records, and safeguarding trust assets for the benefit of plan participants, retirees, and beneficiaries.
- Ensure the safekeeping of assets; efficient trade settlement; and global custody, supported by accurate daily accounting, valuation, reconciliation, and recordkeeping.
- Services must include performance measurement and reporting, as well as independent compliance monitoring to support adherence to the Investment Policy Statement, including exception identification and reporting.
- Provide income collection, corporate action processing, and support for both traditional and alternative investments, along with cash management and a secure, user-friendly online reporting platform with real-time access to data.
- Must deliver complete and accurate information to support audits, actuarial valuations, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong client service is required, including dedicated relationship management, operational support, training, and assistance with governance reporting, as well as administration of retiree related services.
- A seamless transition is expected, with adherence to defined service levels for accuracy, timeliness, system availability, and responsiveness, and delivery of all required financial, compliance, and audit reporting.
