The Vendor is required to provide temporary help services to support field operations, and in accordance with all applicable municipal code requirements pertaining to such services and work.
- Requirement:
• Workers shall possess the necessary aptitude and be physically capable of performing the tasks that align with the work requirements and the associated bid items.
• Workers shall be adequately clothed, including footwear, to perform requested work in forecasted weather conditions.
• Pay for a minimum of four (4) hours work, except for complete work stoppages caused by unanticipated dangerous weather conditions.
• Lunch breaks shall not be considered productive work time and the contractor shall not request payment for this time.
• Workers shall report to the work site ready to begin work at the time requested.
• For each worker who is scheduled to work regularly throughout each week, approval of worked hours may be weekly rather than daily
• City may, at its option, periodically allow the workers the use of the city’s eye protection, hearing protection, head protection and hand protection equipment but assumes no responsibility regarding the use or suitability of such safety equipment.
• Responsible for understanding foot protection requirements and shall ensure temporary help workers provided are wearing appropriate footwear in serviceable condition.
