The Vendor is required to provide temporary staffing assistance, varying from administrative personnel and office clerks to service workers performing outside manual work, on an as-needed basis.
- Requirement:
• Pre-screening & qualification: contractor must screen candidates to ensure they meet all required skills, are not high-risk, and can perform the work without restrictions, based on authority task requirements.
• Employment documentation compliance: contractor is responsible for collecting, verifying, and maintaining all required employment documents (e.g., i-9, w-4) and must provide copies to authority upon request.
• Background checks & testing: contractor must ensure candidates complete background checks and make themselves available for drug/alcohol testing pursuant above, and reference checks (if required), in compliance with all applicable laws and authority policies.
• Worker quality & replacement: contractor must provide qualified workers and promptly replace any unsatisfactory workers at no cost; repeated issues may lead to contract termination.
• Pay all temporary employees in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws.
