The Vendor is required to provide legacy case management system (CMS) was developed in 2000 to replace various legacy applications (e.g. PIMS, clarion case trackers, WordPerfect notebooks, and access case trackers) into a single integrated system.
- This shall include project management, ongoing hosting, maintenance, data migration, production support, and as needed development services as well as the necessary software, services, and tools to successfully implement a new CMS solution.
- The system must allow agency to maintain and update its case records, manage prosecutorial case flow, and centralize associated data/information in one cohesive and streamlined CMS.
- The CMS shall, at minimum, meet the following modernization goals:
• Ease and streamline data transfer and integration between and across criminal justice partners, databases, systems, and tools;
• Support data-driven decision-making and compliance with legislation, such as state race-blind charging;
• Enable scalability for improvements in capacity, capabilities, future enhancements, emerging technologies, and updates;
• Support workflow automation, process standardization and efficiencies, and integration of core operations, including but not limited to prosecution, investigation, victim services, community outreach, and data analytics and reporting; and
• Ensure portability and accessibility of CMS across locations and devices with robust security measures to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance with regulations.
