The Vendor is required to provide for crash safety software department is requesting information and gauging intent for a future application regarding a safety software solution to increase the quality and access of statewide crash data visualization and analytics tools.
- Provide safety resources for agencies to implement safety improvements that will reduce the likelihood of a fatality or serious injury on state roadways.
- Services include:
• Providing accessible safety software that is available to the public and local agencies.
• Access to training for consultants and local agencies to analytic tools and diagnostics.
• Providing in-depth analysis and visualization capabilities by department employees and contractors.
• Utilizing safety software to identify patterns and extract actionable countermeasures.
• Integrating safety data that is accessible, complete, uniform, consistent, and integrated.
• Incorporation of crash prediction models to be able to conduct network screening and diagnostics of safety issues across the state.
• Ingest data from an AWS database that is populated from the department of revenue crash data system
• Integrating safety data that is accessible, complete, uniform, consistent, and integrated
• Show how the data can be analyzed, including:
1. Identify patterns and extract actionable countermeasures
2. Ability to incorporate crash prediction models to be able to conduct network screening and diagnostics of safety issues across the state
• Show accessible data dashboards that can also be made available to the public and local agencies
• The ability to filter and download data from the dashboard for further analysis and subsequent decision-making or resource allocation.
• Access to geolocated data for hot spot analysis and for the design of targeted countermeasures, including performance based design recommendations.
• Integration with other types of statewide transportation and crash-related data sources.
• Access to a requisite amount of detail regarding the contextual events and behaviors that contribute to the occurrence of a crash (i.e., graphs, tables, and customization and filtering capabilities).
• Ease of navigation to the dashboard and understanding of the data and terminology within the dashboard.
• Access to training for consultants and local agencies to analytic tools and diagnostics.
