The Vendor is required to provide to create a digital data warehouse and associated dashboards in a secure housed platform.
- The platform will collect and consolidate data to warehouse and create customized reports and dashboards to display academic, attendance, behavioral, climate, special services, and multilingual learner data.
- The district plans to utilize data systems and processes to foster transparency and streamline tasks and systems by:
• Creating a Data Systems map that lists each system used within the district, its function, and its intended outcome, and align them with standard operating procedures.
• Developing and implementing a professional development plan to ensure all stakeholders are proficient in the use and function of each data system.
• Setting up a system to progress monitor implementation of data systems and collect feedback to maximize system implementation.
- The secured housed platform will need to include:
• Perpetual licenses for administrators and software for server administration
• Report development
• Query development
• Dashboard development
• End user access for all district employees, students for all district students and parents - Data warehouse dashboard
• Import existing data and store it in a “data warehouse” for deployment to the desired dashboard interface;
• Allow for manual uploads (daily, monthly, and annually);
• Automatically interface with provided, extracted data sources in standardized formats, not requiring manual end user intervention to initiate or complete the processing of receiving, transforming and loading data into “data warehouse”.
• Connection with PowerSchool through an API is essential
- The digital data warehouse reporting dashboard shall:
• Include a variety of reports customized to the needs of the various users as defined in the design phase;
• Allow users to customize their landing page;
• Allow users to opt for the delivery of weekly customized reports to emails;
• Be intuitive with sortable options that are easily managed;
• Include defined levels of assess for a hierarchy of users
• Include the option for paper and digital reports (minimally “.pdf”, csv, html, MS excel formats).

- General digital data warehouse with dashboard requirements
• Preferred to be deployed on servers and equipment hosted by the district,
• Collect data through primarily automated and with options of manual entry;
• Not contain commercial content nor serve as a vehicle to market goods and services;
• Automatically perform data integrity activities and include redundancy features to accommodate failures;
• Perform data warehouse file backups daily;
• Provide the ability to be transferred to a new host environment at the end of the contract period for no additional cost;
• Provide secure access and user account administration that is easy to use and maintain;
• Support a single sign-on solution that does not require users to have separate username or passwords for accessing the data warehouse dashboard (preferred solution is ADFS (Microsoft based single sign on) or LDAP);
• Have different levels of access for different users based on their role and locations (preferred process is the single sign on solution); and
• Be a secure, authenticated and encrypted solutions.
