Mid Hudson Library System

The vendor is required to provide Mid-Hudson library system (MHLS) a delivery service vendor to provide a Monday-Friday delivery service and is accepting proposals for service #1 and service #2 as follows:
1) Service #1
• Deliveries Monday-Friday: MHLS seeks proposals on 5 delivery routes MONDAY and Tuesday and 4 delivery routes on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. 
• Delivery routes encompass 65 MHLS member libraries, 3 MHLS branch libraries, and 5 correctional facilities. 
• There are 282 stops per week Monday-Friday and 11 holidays when there is no delivery, covering approximately 3,500 miles per week and over approximately 175,000 miles per year. 
• Vendor will deliver, pick up, and forward sort library materials between and among MHLS headquarters and MHLS member libraries, their branches, and correctional facilities.
2) Service #2
• Deliveries Monday-Friday: MHLS also seeks proposals on 5 delivery routes on Monday and 4 delivery routes on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. 
• Delivery routes encompass 65 MHLS member libraries, 3 MHLS branch libraries, and 5 correctional facilities. 
• There are 262 stops per week Monday-Friday and 11 holidays when there is no delivery covering approximately 2,950 miles per week and over approximately 147,500 miles per year. 
• Vendor will deliver, pick up, and forward sort library materials between and among MHLS headquarters and MHLS member libraries, their branches, and correctional facilities.
