Tasers and Police Recording System

The Vendor is required to provide police video recording systems include but are not limited to body cameras, POV cameras, and in car video cameras.
•    Must work with government insurance to establish data migration process to support automatic license plate reader (ALPR). 
•    Must support live-streaming capabilities directly to command staff or dispatch when activated. 
•    Must include wireless microphones for capturing in-car audio or syncing with body cameras.
•    The system must offer both long-term evolution (LTE) cellular connectivity and wireless fidelity (WIFI) for video offload and LTE for livestreaming and real-time alerts. 
•    Ability to integrate with computer aided dispatch and records management system for tagging and evidence linking. 
•    Hardware installation services for the camera system.

•    Supports video, audio, photos, documents, ALPR hits, metadata;
•    Automated digital audit trail with access and modification logs;
•    Policy-based retention rules with configurable schedules;
•    Seamless sync with body camera, in car camera, Taser devices, ALPR and drone recordings;
•    Metadata-based, geolocation, date and time, tag-based search functionality;
•    Ability to store and manage third party photo, audio and video recordings; and
•    Ability to seamlessly migrate data to different service provider at the end of contract.

•    SMS administrators will have the ability to manage content and workflows directly;
•    Creation of individual log-in credentials for SMS staff and management of different levels of Access including role-based sharing, secure external portals for prosecutors and public sharing; and
•    Secure cloud storage with role-based access

•    Duty cartridges for 5 years;
•    Associated hardware, software, DEMS and licenses;
•    Hook and loop training (halt), training suit; and
•    Master instructor training.

•    Conducted energy weapon (Taser 7)
•    Digital evidence management solution (DEMS) to support data from an in-vehicle video system as well as body cameras, or point of view (POV) cameras that officers may be wearing.
•    Flexible high definition (HD) camera solution to meet a number of applications, as well as body cameras and POV cameras and camera applications to support the officer functions. 
•    Ability to take recorded statements through smart phone or body camera, and save and secure photos or information from acquired from citizens or partners.
- The estimated five (5) year budget of the Taser 7 is $480,000 for 66 officers and the estimated five (5) year budget of in-car video recording system, including the Dems is $750,000.
