The Vendor is required to provide or the purchase, implementation, training, hosting and maintenance associated with a configurable and customizable pre-built enterprise chemical inventory management system.
- Database tracks information:
• Identifier, manufacturer
• CAS registry number (base formulation, if applicable)
• Supplier and supplier identifiers (SKU/Stock/Lot)
- System Include:
• Database tracks the product/chemical's physical location
• Database has customizable levels of access/user types
• Database can associate responsible person with locations or records and can be easily updated/changed.
• Software solution has mobile app or is mobile devise friendly.
• Barcode query capability/ mobile device friendly to be able to quickly access SDS, HAZCOM, storage, and other product information.
• Ability to export the data at any time.
• Online end user training provided by vendor (included with onboarding).
• The solution is software as a service (SaaS) that does not require a technical expert to maintain.
• Single Sign-on compatible.
• System includes emergency response features
• Tokens or other features that can be used to inform emergency responders of hazards.
• Ability to search database for SDS/Hazcom info without logging into system.
• Database can add new database fields, attach document/files to records, etc., as user's needs evolve.
• Database has the ability for a user to scan a product label with a smartphone/app and the system extracts product information.
• Prints secondary container labels that integrates HAZCOM data with pictogram. Prints labels with user defined fields.
• Software offers accident reporting and tracking module that are able to be added at later date.
• Software supports customizable reports/queries for regulatory reporting requirements.
• Software has integrated barcoding with the ability to use user- defined barcodes.
• Software/database can autofill the health and safety information based on product/supplier information (or from scanning label).
